Season 3 of Sew What? is (almost) back! This is a tiny sneak preview of season 3's episode structure and offerings. Yeehaw!

As always, images and sources are available at @sewwhatpodcast on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. The podcast has a website, sewwhatpodcast.com, and a Patreon, patreon.com/sewwhatpodcast.

Whatsup stitches! Isabella Rosner here, hostess with the mostess of Sew What, your local podcast all about historic needlework! WE ARE (ALMOST) BACK BABY. The time for season 3 is nearly here! I wanted to release a tiny lil pre season 3 episode to explain how this upcoming season will work. Because there will be some changes. But only good ones I hope! Season 3 will premiere on the 14th of October and will run through the middle of February. Full length episodes will be released every two weeks instead of every week and there will be 10 full length episodes in total. All of those ten episodes will be interviews. In between every other full length episode there will be a mini episode, for five mini episodes total. Those mini episodes will be dedicated to indigenous needleworking cultures from around the world. The five episodes will focus on needlework from five continents – Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. These episodes will be just me chatting away instead of interviewing people. So basically, this season will be a mixture of interview episodes and just me episodes, just like always!

I am HYPED about the interviews happening this season. There will be interviews with artists, scholars, authors, museum professionals, and everyone in between. Topics will include historic rugs, needlework and geography, Mexican embroidery, textiles pest control, and everything in between. A treat! A joy!!

As I have done for the previous two seasons, I will be putting images of everything discussed in each episode, as well as relevant links and sources, up on the Sew What? social media pages. You know this now, but in case you don’t, you can find those at @sewwhatpodcast on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. And on the podcast’s website at sewwhatpodcast.com. And the podcast still has a Patreon, which is actually more important than ever because those amazing interviewees should be paid, right?! I’m lowering the Patreon rates a bit because I’ll be averaging three episodes a month instead of four. But you should become a patron because there are fun things like episode sneak peeks and exclusive blog posts and videos. Yeehaw!

So yeah! This bitty episode thing is less of a trailer and more of a preparatory shpiel, a lil get you excited for what’s to come thing. So I hope you are indeed excited! Thanks for sticking with Sew What? and here’s to season 3! Now go out and stitch some stories and as you wait for new episodes to drop why not listen to the 46 other episode of the pod? Bye!!
